Ticket Information
Tickets for performances of Into the Woods are $15 each and are not included in the tuition fee. We will do our best to make sure that parents can attend any of the performances by making tickets available to families of C.A.S.T. members prior to the general public, but we have limited space and cannot guarantee tickets will be available. We strongly suggest that you purchase or reserve tickets ahead of time because C.A.S.T program events sell out early.
For more information about purchasing or reserving tickets, click here.

Scheduling
Rehearsals will begin at 5 pm on December 6th. They will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays until December 22nd. Rehearsal resumes on January 3rd (2012!) and will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays until February 2nd. Tech week runs February 6th through 9th. Performances will be at 7 pm on February 10th & 11th and at 2 pm on February 11th & 12th. Participants are responsible for attending every rehearsal for which they are called, although they may not be called for every rehearsal. A more precise schedule will be distributed at the first rehearsal.

Tuition
There is a $175 tuition charge to cover the expenses of instruction, costumes, props, scenery, rehearsal and performance space, licensing, and insurance as well as a production T-Shirt and DVD. Tuition is due at the first rehearsal. There is a 5% tuition reduction for each registered referral, and non-cumulative 10% tuition reduction for siblings. We also offer a tuition assistance program for qualifying families. Performers will be required to provide their own tights and dance shoes, which can be purchased at a discount through the program.

The Instructors

Director Suzie Dunn has been a Dance and Drama instructor for over 10 years. With a dual major in Elementary Education and Theater, she taught acting and dance at the Oakland Gardens School for the Arts in Queens, NY, directing over 40 stage productions and 7 full scale musicals. She has trained in NYC with the Broadway Theater Institute, The People's Improv Theater, The Judith Shakespeare Company and with Ms. Anne Pearlstine for vocals. Now living in Albany, she is happy to be a part of The Steamer 10 Theater Company.

Musical Director Rebecca Benjamin has been heavily involved with music for the great majority of her life, and has enjoyed teaching music in various school, theatre, and choral settings for the past eight years. She attended the Crane School of Music for music education (with a concentration in organ performance), and currently teaches at Hoosic Valley High School and is the organist at the Niskayuna Reformed Church. Rebecca has taught, music directed, and/or accompanied performances throughout the Capital District, and is excited to be involved with Steamer No.10 Theatre!
