Tuition
There is a fee for participating in this show. It covers the expenses of instruction, costumes, props, scenery, rehearsal and performance space, licensing, and insurance as well as a production T-Shirt. The fee is $300 for the leading roles and $150 for the supporting roles. Tuition is due at the first rehearsal. We also offer a tuition assistance program for qualifying families. Performers will be required to provide their own tights and dance shoes, which can be purchased at a discount through the program.
Scheduling
Rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning on March 6th. There will be no rehearsals February 20-24 or April 9-13. Tech week runs May 29-31. Performances will be at 7 pm on June 1 & 2 and at 2 pm on June 2 & 3. Participants are responsible for attending every rehearsal for which they are called, although they may not be called for every rehearsal.
Ticket Information
Tickets for performances of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee are $15 each and are not included in the tuition fee. We will do our best to make sure that parents can attend any of the performances by making tickets available to families of C.A.S.T. members prior to the general public, but we have limited space and cannot guarantee tickets will be available. We strongly suggest that you purchase or reserve tickets ahead of time because C.A.S.T program events sell out early.
